Just pondering, why would it matter whether the US is
blessed or cursed? And would this extend to all 300
million Americans of various religions and cultures? And if it
indeed is 'cursed', who is 'cursing' it? (I'm not even sure if
curses actually exist)
Probably a more productive thing that we can do
is to pray for it, that He will enlighten the hearts and minds for
its leaders (who incidentally are being appointed right now as I
write this). Being such an influential country, most things that
happen there are bound to filter down to the rest of the
world, especially in these economically uncertain
times.
Let us not judge Obama or any American as we have no right
to do so, but rather on how we can help them, especially those who
are hurting, through our prayers and charitable
efforts.
