As a Christian I have my own weaknesses and I cannot picture
myself living a holy life. Do we Christians need to live a holy
life to be saved? It's not that I'm an evil person but little sins
here and there. Though I sometimes feel that God is involved in my
life I'm never sure whether I'm worthy of eternal life as I have a
very high standard as I believe we all do. Do we Christians
need to really break all sins and live holy? Is living holy a
requirement of being saved?
There are plenty songs which lyrics say something like being
turned more like Jesus. That is very very difficult.
What do you think? If you were to die or dying now would you be
sure of your worthiness to receive eternal life the very crown of
life?
Hi;
Do we Christians need to really break all sins and live holy?
so, Is living holy a requirement of being saved?
first of all, is it humanly possible to really break all sins
and live holy, sometimes maybe, but all the time? and in all
action, thoughts and intentions?
To be honest, humanly its impossible (even the Apostle Paul have
this problem).
So Nope.
Make it this way, if living holy a requirement of being saved
and its humanly possible to break all sins and live holy, then
there is no need for Christ to be scarificed on the cross.
God Bless...
