hmm, ok, lets put it this way. the teachings of islam gives
extremists the opportunity to twist it to befit their
purpose.
because i'm comparing the majority of religious related death
between christianity and another religion. and since muslim
terrorists are on the news often enough, i used them as an example
lor.
also.. i think a true believer of islam wouldn't do that. after
all, its a religion of peace isn't it?
but some of their teachings do give extremists the chance to
exaggerate it.
i mean. take christianity's basic teaching. turn the other cheek.
even if christian terrorists do bomb others, its so obvious that
its wrong. its hard to get christian terrorists because the
teachings simply don't allow followers to be extreme.
but for islam. extremists can manipulate their teachings by
reasoning that suicide bombing is considered jihad.
if the teachings of jihad never existed, or even better yet,
forbidden. they can't very well use it to justify their suicide
bombings right?
anyway, point is. christianity's definition of dying for their
faith is really to die for their faith. dying because others don't
like what they believe in. killed because of their message,
murdered because of their identity.
whereas majority of martyrdom of another abrahamic religion, for
the sake of comparison, lets just say islam, always revolves around
a bomb.
