Unfortunately, its like our Mandarin, which is a dialect in the
region of Beijing. Similarly, Hindi is the language of the North
Indian
But most Indians in Singapore and Malaysia are Tamilians, not
Bengalis, Sikhs or Masharatis etc etc
I guess thats why they make Tamil the official Indian language
here
But education different leh, i know some take their mother tongue,
like Punjabis or Hindi
One of my Sikh friend ji tao opt out and learn Malay
