The Book of Hebrews was specifically targeted at Jews when first written, because of heavy reference to the Old Testament.

In view of the argument I put forth earlier, is it any wonder it failed to convince the religious establishment of the day? Any Jew with good knowledge of the Old Testament can see the glaring holes in it.

Notice how the author of Hebrews injected his own opinion and totally changed the direction of the verses in Jeremiah.

Hebrews 8:8 - God* finds fault with them when he says: The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah;

Read the originals in Jeremiah. There is nothing to suggest that God finds fault with the covenant He has given.

Shabbat Shalom, only during Shabbat. Shalom, Peace of Hashem, brother. Even when we disagree and argue on interpretations of scriptures etc, maybe even if carried away with argument and starts names calling.
