Not exactly. The lighter the car, the more likely it will need a wing. The Aston Martin V8 Vantage doesn't need a wing is probably because its basic aerodynic is good enough to resist lift at high speeds. Mr. Green

the spoiler is around the 3rd brake light... its flushed in the boot to make it preety... spoilers spoil the beauty of such cars Mr. Green

Honestly speaking, this kind of spoilers that are flushed into the boot are not as effective as those "ironing board" spoilers fitted to cars like Evos and Subies..I think the only way to achieve good downforce from a spoiler and yet not spoiling its aesthetic, it shall only be the pop-up spoilers like those on Bentley Continental GT/FS, Gallardo, Veyron etc.. I wonder what will happen when the Veyron is travelling at 252mph with no spoiler up and a sudden strong gust of wind blows at it from the front..will it lift the whole car up and flip it over? Confused

It can't come out in "top speed mode" because if it does, it'll never reach 252mph with that amount of downforce..hence it stays flushed together with the bodywork so that it's capable of reaching 252mph..a bit dangerous IMO.. Neutral

Yeah..better check it..I saw a "CLS63 AMG" at Tampines Central..nearly got tricked by it because it's bodykit is pure AMG bodykit until I saw it's stock and un-drilled brakesthat belongs to a CLS350.. Laughing
