Apologies for this provocative title.

But I just wanna ask, issit theologically correct to bless God?

Apparently this was what a mortal in the bible did. From NIV:

Gen 14:

18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem [d] brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, 19 and he blessed Abram, saying,
"Blessed be Abram by God Most High,
Creator [e] of heaven and earth.

20 And blessed be [f] God Most High,
who delivered your enemies into your hand."
Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.

How can we bless God? God needs our blessing meh? Shocked

Aiya...
I'm employing this thought that says there are x amount of blessings in the world, so once we use our blessing, then we have to pass it on.
So we don't know who to bless; we give it to Him...
And he can help us choose, and bless those who need the blessing.

He wants praise from his creations.

He wants a relation

He wants his creation with free will to express love for God.

Thus, God i bless you.

Bless can be merely a word having the definition of praise in this context.

Quoting from Psalms 66:8.

Oh, bless our God, you peoples! And make the voice of His praise to be heard, (NKJV)
Praise our God, O peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard; (NIV)

Psalsm 66 is an example of how God is blessed. When God blesses us, His primary purpose is for us to experience His glory. So when we bless Him, it is to declare His glory, giving back what is due to Him.
