This is nothing surprising. Carve away his large organisation,
carve away his status. Carve all that away, and all you see is a
man.
And what is man? Man can never hope to be holy. It is not through
your acts that you are saved. It is only through Jesus.
Sin is natural to man. To try to suggest otherwise is egoistical,
trying to suggest that you can save yourself.
Do not condemn him, for everyone's flesh is weak. He will still be
saved as long as he accepts Jesus as his Lord and Saviour.
Understand this crucial point. It doesn't matter what we have done,
what we do and what we will do. He has come to die for ALL our
sins, past, present and future.
Just because a person is ordained doesn't make him special. He is
the same as you and me. Thinking he has some special powers or
invulnerable is exactly what the devil wants him and his leaders to
think. Man is infallible, do not look at the man at pulpit, but God
behind him.
Don't be like those old 'christian' aunties.. 1st thing out of
their mouth is, Pastor like that one ah? And the famous - Call
yourself a christian!
