Note her right hand. She is showing the sign of Satan."Devil's hand" (or "il cornuti" in Italian) signifies that satan rules. It is a universal hand signal used by politicians, celebrities as well as heavy metal bands, affirming their allegiance to satanic powers and a visual shorthand for "Hail, Satan."

One thing I don't understand is why is this topic in Eternal Hope? It's about Sun Ho and her singing career. It hasn't nothing do with Christian topics or anything. Rolling Eyes

It doesn't mean anything if the person doing it doesn't know what it means. IIRC I have noticed younger children trying to imitate rappers doing such signs to try to act cool.

Proof that it wasn't delibrate:
Her palm is facing outwards, whereas the actual sign is palm facing away in a more menacing look. ie. like the peace sign is palm facing out, but the insult "up yours" is palm facing in.

what i see.

1 The act may be unintentional, however it does have some sensitive implications.

2 She was a former pastor. She should know the subtle pose or act she does harnass certain effects, hence the sensitive implications.

3 Why it is linked to Christianity because Sun have many followers who adore her.

Cheers

You guys are reading too much into her hand sign... when they take photos, they do it when the model is moving so as to try and capture the right moment and feel.

It's just incidental.

Or is it? (Conspiracy music playing in background)

Question

Whar is the titile of the conspiracy music?

Why choose that photo then?

no lah...she's just flicking her fingers when the picture is taken. Mr. Green

Erm...... What has being Christian got to do with being her follower? Being a Christian and a fan of Sun Ho are totally different things.

p.s; MC2, the 2nd part isn't directed to you.

Nah i'm fine.

Unfortunately, there are people who couldn't differentiate being a christian and a fan.

She is like britney spears and her followers in chc copies her.
Those 'britney wannabe'
I'm taking Britney because she had cause a certain movement in the teenage market. Hair, cloths, make up etc.

People may disagree with me.
And all i can say is. Take 2hrs of your sunday time and sit in one of their service.
Let me know of your observation. We can discuss from there? Wink

p.s - Sum1 Mr. Green All are not directed at you.
Just responding generally.

I'd say that demographically speaking, there is a large overlap in that area. In the past, here in SGforums, I have had plenty of arguments with her fans on what she did. Most, if not all, of them are from CHC. This is at least true in Singapore.

Having said that, not all CHC folks are her fans.... Confused

urm, she also went to Taiwan to 'fa zhan' i think

so her fan base include Mandarin songs lover

I agree that some people can't differentiate being a christian and a fan. I believe you may have had an influence on the teens as well. However, even without the Sun Ho factor, there are too many of these young people going to church for the wrong reasons.

They are going just to be part of the IN crowd and rather than for the actual purpose of going to church. Not only that, they drag other people along who become like them, getting caught up in everything and losing the real meaning and purpose.

Sometimes, such people become so disillusioned that they just get angry with the whole of christianity and lamblast any Christian as being brainless and mindless because their angry with how they got "conned" into going to church last time.

kaister SG

Yes, it's those people who give christians a bad name. I personally know a friend who goes to church becos' she's lonely. And there's plenty of people who do that. What is the point?

And also those who come knocking at your door to promote christianity. Shocked

Having said that, true christians are not like them.

SumOne SG

I don't know what is the situation of your friend, but going to church for fellowship doesn't seem like a bad thing to me. I would prefer she goes wanting to know God better. We are supposed to bond as Christians afterall.

However, it's a different thing to get too fanatical and too caught up such that it comprimises the good you do or the good that is being done. Like how some people who get so caught up and jaded end up hating church instead.

And I don't get it with people who go to church to see pretty girls, you don't go to the temple to bio the chio bu nuns right? Or maybe this same group of people do that I won't know. But that is seriously so wrong. Then, instead of drawing closer to church and to God, these people start hating Christians just because they were rejected by the girl or something.
