1 Timothy 3
Overseers and Deacons
1 Here is a trustworthy saying: If anyone sets his heart on being
an overseer,[a] he desires a noble task.
2 Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one
wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to
teach,
3 not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not
quarrelsome, not a lover of money.
Note- Bible says church leader must be "ABLE TO TEACH"
The church will have not followed the Bible if a person who cannot
teach is appointed as a preacher.........
So.......can you blame the poor man in the pew for a boring sermon?
Make excuses for the preacher? If a man cannot teach, he should not
take up a pulpit ministry!
But this is NOT an excuse for anyone to forsake the
church.......Make sure you go to church, david...
