aiya .. what happened was Moses exercised his mathematical and
theological skills at the same time.
It was supposed to be 6 million million days - 6 000 000 000
000.
But those people couldn't comprehend such a big number, so he
reduced it to something manageable and more believable. There is
basis for this since according to somewhere in the bible, a
thousand years is like one day to god? So he decided to use this
principle.
so using standard form, 6 x 10^12 / 365 = 1.6 x 10^-2 x 10^12 = 1.6
x 10^10.
there you have it .. 16 million years.
