first because it is a command from the Lord my friend:
Heb 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves
together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one
another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
what are we going to do there? Just listen and then go home?
certainly not my friend we are to:
Heb 10:24 And let us consider one another in order to stir
up love and good works,
we are to use our spiritual gifts to minister to fellow Christians.
1 Corin. 12.
We are there to be ministered to and grow in the faith. we grow
through fellowship. There is no such thing as a lone ranger
christian.
Eph 4:16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what
every joint supplies, according to the effective working by
which every part [every member] does its share, causes growth of
the body for the edifying of itself in love.
Are you a christian my friend? Church will be meaningful if you
repent and trust in Christ alone for salvation. You can give and
share your spiritual gifts, time, self and life to fellow souls
redeemed by Christ. There is joy in ministering and being
ministered to, besideds God being glorified.
