why must christian faith grow only when we can perform those miracles?

christian faith is an on going process and of building 'faith' muscles.
we never stop growing in the Lord, thus, this is the reason why we need the Lord.

The more I read someone’s posts abt we can keep the LAW, the more I feel Christ’s first coming was redundant.

Why the need for Christ to come? Why not all of us just covert to Judaism and keep the LAW? Not one stroke of the LAW has changed, so whether Christ came or not doesn’t make a difference.

His perspective is always: Must go back to Jewish roots, must read the Torah to know abt Christ. Even must address Christ by Yeshuah if not we address a different Christ. In short, if u dun go back to Jewish roots u dun noe HIM.

But my Christian education has taught me this is not the case. So how? There is a major conflict here which must be resolved. He has managed to stir up equilibrium liao.

Christ came to cleanse our sins to all those who want to be cleansed.

He also came to give us a choice to reconcile with God, our heavenly Father.

He came so that the power of darkness can be broken and grace to be upon us so that we all can have the choice to accept Jesus as our Saviour.

Cleanse? For what? Somebody has said God has given the LAW to us becoz we can keep them.

If we can keep the LAW, we dun sin and we are not sinners. What is the need to cleanse?

Why need grace when u can keep the LAW perfectly? And Christ is definitely redundant if we already have God's LAW and can keep it perfectly. Even if Christ has come, nothing has been changed. If u want to be saved, u must convert to Jewish ways and acknowledge Christ as YESHUAH, otherwise he will not know u as his sheep.

And mind u, GOD's LAW dun just apply to the 10 commandments, according to this someone.

cleansing of sin of course. even when we're christians we still sin. so as long as we have Jesus in our life, and if we confess He'll forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, because He is faithful and just. (1 John 1:9)

the reason why we need Jesus, and why Jesus came to die on the cross is because no one can keep the law perfectly. therefore we all need the grace of God as we all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. without the grace of God, we'll all be perishing. that's the reason why Jesus died for us - for all our sins, iniquities, transgressions against the law and commandments.

Somebody mentioned we can definitely keep the law if not GOD would not have give it to us. The LAW was given long long long long long b4 Christ came and Jews were able to keep them, as somebody here has said. So why do we still need God's grace and forgivess?

Why do we need a saviour who came and say nothing has been changed? Isn't tat redundant?

1. God loves people. in fact, He loves everyone of us, regardless.

2. adam sinned. therefore, sin is passed down thru generations and are conceived even before an infant is born.

3. it would be an assumption that all Jewish people kept the law. btw... they all have sinned. many times in the bible. read the old testaments. how many times did God appear to the people by using prophets after prophets to speak to the jewish people in vain. in the end, God sent His wrath over them by allowing calamities, captivities and destruction.

4. because of God's love, He sent His one and only Son Jesus to die for our sins.. to sacrifice Himself on the cross and bear all the consequences of our sins upon Himself. so that thru His blood, we can be forgiven of all our unrighteousness and sins when we choose to believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
