Lets see, personal view is that respecting/adoration is
different from worship.
(you can have the former without the latter, but you cannot have
the latter without the former)
on the Cherubim subject, these are angelic beings, by themselves,
they are not idols, its the statues that people made and used in
worship that are being refers to a an idol.
