Bisaya. that's actually the major language here. But since the Tagalogs got the seat of power in the capital they made it that.

English got lost to many of us when the government decided to make tagalog the main toungue. now the government is alarmed because many of us do not know english tht good anymore. our forefathers were good english speakers but now we lost it.

the government is issuing a mandatory command to bring back english in all schools in all levels.

actually so many languages here. so many, if i am not mistaken more than 12 i think.

some of my fellows here think that english is the language of the rich and cultured and refined, next to Tagalog. Bisaya is often times the object of ridicule here.

yup, it's sad there's discrimination here. i hope i can improve my Tagalog too so that i can talk to them, if need be in that language. who knows somebody might get saved by it.
