Has anyone read the book by Mother Teresa (Life In The Spirit:
Reflections, Meditations, and Prayers)?
Is this what she says in page 81/82 as metioned in the webby, I
think there is more to this,
"We never try to convert those who receive (aid) to Christianity
but in our work we bear witness to the love of God's presence and
if Catholics, Protestants, Buddhists, or agnostics become for this
better mensimply betterwe will be satisfied. It matters to the
individual what church he belongs to. If that individual thinks and
believes that this is the only way to God for her or him, this is
the way God comes into their lifehis life. If he does not know any
other way and if he has no doubt so that he does not need to search
then this is his way to salvation."
If there is one thing I do know about mission/charity work
(especially if the aim is charity), is that we do not try to
convert those that comes for the aid, doing so is not ethical as
its only preying on people in their weakness, with the only
exception is that when they comes to us volunteeringly to ask about
our beliefs or asked to be prayed for, even so, have to be careful
and sensitive about it.
