laoda99 SG I am unofficial member of 28th GB coy (where my gf is officer) dun understand why BB can have female members while GB cant have males. Do they share the same origin?
laurence82 SG Same Boy Scouts can have Girl Scouts but Girl Guides cannot have Boy Guides I dont know, its kinda weird
laoda99 SG how's girls scouts different from boy scouts? And NT: do girls in BB have different uniforms? What they wear har?
laurence82 SG actually they are the same, except for the gender of course, take the same courses and badges and stuff like that i first met some from Greenridge Secondary Schools during the later part of my Scouting years
NT2 SG GB wear the dark blue uniform lor...their blue is darker than Girl Guides and lighter than BB Boys. Officers in GB wear white color uniform tt look like nurse
NT2 SG who say GB cant have males? the only diff is that guys cannot be officers in the GB whereas girls can become officer in BB. criteria for both BB n GB officers r the same. they have to be christians.
laoda99 SG What i mean is: female members in BB wear what? I always comment my gf look like breadtalk girl...she agrees...
NT2 SG eh...mai siao siao some breadtalk girls quite pretty leh female members in BB only joined during their poly years. There is no female BB member in junior and senior programme. the poly BB, known as the Primers wear a white top (shirt) with dark navy blue skirt. their cap is same as the BB boy. they wear blue lanyard over the left sleeves and they have Epaulettes on their shoulder pads.
