Christian = Follower of Jesus Christ, A believer that who had by faith received salvation from God through the works of Christ, thus had received the Holy Spirit into our lives as promised by God.

Jews = Children of Isreal, son of Issac, son of Abraham....

all christians follow the bible, but not all christians celebrate christmas and easter... and if you follow the bible, why do you celebrate easter and christmas and not God's feasts... you are inconsistent then...

laoda99 SG

Me gentile....me celebrate Christmas

This is the problem because Christains want to have the best of both worlds but lazy to rewrite their own holy book. And with the lack of an oral tradition, protestant believers are confused.

Look at the Holy Quran. It has Abraham + Jesus + Muhammed. Yet the Muslims can balance so nicely.

Icemoon SG

He is a Christian, I'm surprised many of you cannot understand his position.

Vince hit the jackpot when he defined a Christian as someone who acknowledged Christ as Lord and saviour.

Icemoon SG

Well, it is not as bad as Christians claiming to be spiritual descendants of Abraham and wanting to be part of his seed. Whateve that is. Wink

I think Brey will somehow agree with me that some Christians have too narrow a view of things. Wink

Brey is not confused now. He is very clear on his stand. You are the one confused?

Not that I agree with Brey totally. His argument that celebrating Christmas is like celebrating some Baal festival is unconvincing.
