I don't believe I have ever quoted without giving my personal feel
on any topic. And most of the time, I do not quote. Or if I do, I
ALWAYS give my source.
It is important to state one's personal opinion on any matter
because mere quoting is acting like a parrot, regurgitating
everything without the need to digest.
Anyway, I think your thread title is not too accurate. Shouldn't it
be Christian forumites too academic?
