Nobody is afraid of criticism. But the fact is u only come here to "criticize" and not to learn abt Christ. Your intention is as doubtful as the one who post this question. If you are really here to learn abt Christ, we can share. If not, I am not interested to waste my time arguing with u.

As I have said, this is a Christian forum. If you are anti-christian and do not want to learn abt Christ, I would say this is not the place for u. You do not come here WILLINGLY and then say pple push the gospel down your throat.

If the choice is made by a non-believer to be a non-believer, then why should that person then bother whether we Christians think it is all right or not. They have free will to make that choice, so obviously it seems the right one to make for them.

We don't have to bash. Lau, chill here, I will say it again, just because we have a differing opinion, does not mean we are bashing non-christians, or look at it from the other viewpoint, non-christians are always bashing Christians for believing in Jesus as the only way to salvation(the only way to Heaven). There are always two sides to every coin.

I think lau that you are focusing on the wrong thing here. Anything can be misconstrued if you want to do so, words and language can be twisted to suit a specific agenda, especially when we cannot see the face and the emotion of the person actually writing the post. I will give fallin the benefit and take his question at face value. Nothing in the posts seems to indicate to me that it is bait.

Not contradictory, God instructed the Isrealites to kill their enemies so that they could possess the land to which He was giving them, these enemies were idol worshippers, worshipping baal etc.. they were idolaters, adulterers, etc.. engaged in immoral acts and things that displeased God.

God does say that He is a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Him. That there are to be no other gods before Him.

Actually we Christians tell non-believers the consequences of not believing in Jesus, we do not tell non-believers that they are going to hell... there is a difference. If we told non-believers that they are going to hell means that it is a definite thing already, but as long as the non-believer have not died, this situation can change. The person has always got a choice before him/her, should this person then choose to believe, then he/she will not go to hell. Until the time of death, this situation is not a certainty.

This is crap. If we choose to be non believers, you will stop evangelising? You will stop harping on this issue? There wont be such a topic on what will happen to non believers and all that? It is what you will possibly think, and more importantly say and act upon when you know there are non believers. You can promise that there will no likes of JTB who defiled the reputations and characters of the tsunami or Pakistani earthquake victims?

Again, I have not even gotten to the character of the threadstarter. All along, even in my entire number of posts in EH, its abt the manner of speech. You post such topic, its a possible flamebait, it doesnt matter if the threadstarter is an innocent bumbling fool. The consequences, the responses have shown it all what it will and has already become. Do we still need to even question the character of the threadstarter or any forumer?
