Some Christians are rich. Some Buddhists are rich. Some Muslims are rich. Some Free Thinkers are rich. Some Taoists are rich. So, wealth is not confined to a certain belief group only… in fact that reminds me, I went to the REN CI CHarity Dinner last Sunday and The REVEREND MING YI put up his own personal item for auction… I think it was a Buddhist bead…. and from $1000 base price, it shot up to $100,000. Winner was the boss of Teh Yi Jia, Popiah King, Sam Gwee…. Well that was a rich buddhist (or whatever his religion) putting his wealth to good use….

i think for ur case... it's becoz singaporeans are generally rich, just so those who are rich happened to be christians.. i know alot of non christians are very rich too

if you buy a share and keep it its investment.

if you short or contra a shares its speculating. its gambling.

I also cant help but notice those who use fengshui, fortune god, non christians, unscrupulous businessmen, corrupt officials, Osama, Saddam, etc very rich also & oppressing the poor. Do u know Arab very rich also bcos of oil? Where Osama & gang got money to sponsor terrorists? Saddam built a huge palace with golden toilet bowls & taps etc. Not to mention durai. I am not a rich Christian also. Blessed be the poor, for theirs is the kingdom of God. In another gospel, blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of God. So poor or rich financially, so long as heart is right before God, why bother with these accusations?

i find it weird everytime someone posting on the christians, one of the christians would link it back to Buddhism, and the funny thing is

does the christian want a Buddhist explaination of what christians can or cannot do, or the usual christian nitpicking of other faith, or just want to cleverly form a shallow comparison?
