the genetic material is the same in the creatures that the Lord has made, within one dog lies the dna to create many types of dogs... it is how this dna interacts with the environment and how it is expressed that gives the variation that we see today. How wonderful are the works of the LORD!!!

but in the end, it is really a futile exercise to try and figure out what exactly was taken... only God and Noah know the answer!!! So if you want to know make sure you get before the LORD!! Get saved!!! Very Happy

even if it's just a medium size ship, technically it still can hold all the animals in there.

But u r the one tat start talking about changes of animals after a period of time. Isn't tat already evolution ? Rolling Eyes If u believe in evolution, then it states tat animals changes very very gradually, over millions of years to be wat we see today. Tis is really unlike the changes describe in your explanation tat these major changes occur in a mere 5000 years

Even so, it is again as stated tat the whole species of beetles already need an ark 10 times the size described. It can't hold all the animals in there. Tis is especially true since it says tat some species need 7 animals instead of 2 and also for it to float it need a lot of empty space.

There is really nothing tat says tat god make the ship real good tat it defy physics principles Rolling Eyes I mean if u totally disregard physics principles and actual scenario, u might as well just make ultra incredible claims such as food dropping from the sky, animals suddenly shrink to become germs size, or better still send the ark to holiday in wonderland before sending back to earth after the rain. If u say tat way, then why don't god make things simple with his infinite powers by just erasing the creatures he do not want instead of trying so many stunts such as asking someone to build an ark, making the animals go to tat ark, finding such a big amount of water, raining for so long, making the ship float when it should sink etc

Lets face it. Most animals don't hibernate.

Anyway u also bring about an interesting question on how does a creature tat need a cold climate such as polar bear survive with creatures tat live in hot climate stay together in a ship. Animals do die if u put them in the wrong environment and climate

If one wants to believe that, then the story makes perfectly good sense. If, however, anyone puts any premium at all on common sense, he will have to consider the story a myth from prescientific times

BBC released a documentary to discuss about the story of the Ark. An objective study, from both theology and historian finds. I can't remember everything. And for fear of quoting the wrong information, I will go watch this afternoon and share with the rest later.

If the Ark proves to be a historical find, then it doesn't matter whether it came from sumerian or egyptian or whatever mythology right? At least the bible was the first to give it credibility.
