NKF has benefitted many Singaporeans, we applaud them for this, but if they are guilty of corruption then they should be taken to task.

Similarly, the work of Mother Theresa and the late Pope cannot be denied. But it is a different thing to criticise their belief.

The issue is not about making money, after all which producer wants to make a loss? And what's wrong with making some money out of the film? They're not doing it big. No fancy advertisement like some kind of Titanic movie. No movie posters. No movie mechandise. I don't think you can lump this documentary (it is not even a movie in the first place!) with other movies.

Chin chye lah .. army bases no big deal .. the public can access SAFTI, BMTC, the air force and navy open house and even some of the camps (like clementi camp for 2PDF Open House). But the mountain supposedly their own people also cannot access. The guide secretly climbed the mountain - that was why he could discover the Ark.

As mentioned in the film, the govt tried to stop people from climbing the mountain. They even blacklisted people. The ang moh team that wanted to climb the mountain got refused too.

My stand: I'm not antoganistic with any religions. Just that the claim of the Ark being found has no basis. Like what SIS has said, if the Ark was really found, wouldn't it drawn the religious leaders from all over the world? Noah's story can be found in Islam, Christianity and Judaism anyway, wouldn't they be interested to take a peep at God's will to save Noah and other first-generation animals?

I wonder if you have watched the documentary film. In the beginning, it explains that not many can be permited to enter the kurb confidential military base. And the base is a dangerous place because of occassional crossfire by enemy or terrorist.... There is another group from US, I think, and they were rejected to enter the base to find the ark. The chinese evangelist groups have applied several time, but sometimes they are being rejected. So we know first you must apply for permission, but your application may not be successful. You must understand that the ark is situated in a rather sensitive and inaccessible place! I hope you would go and watch it or re-watch it, with a heart of wanting to find out more.
