In Christianity, there is Love. But the same Love cannot be
divorced from Truth. Many Christians do not recognise that.
That is why we see so many "modern" churches preach only about love
and love and love and more love. They no longer preach about sin,
about repentence, about doctrines, and about biblical truth.
For example, say,
a Christian couple has a daughter.
The daughter is a Christian but back-slidden.
The daugther got into a relationship with a man, non
christian
The have a child in wedlock.
They want to get married.
if you are the Christian couple, do you give you give them the
blessing?
A mordern church will preach: "yes, why not. although she has
sinned, she is till you daughter. maybe the son-in-law will be
converted after marriage"
thats is a lot of love, but no truth.
A fundamental church will preach: "no, you cannot give them your
blessings, you daughter have chose to be unequally yoked, all you
can do is to pray for her that she will recognise her sins and
repent, and pray for her boyfriend too."
that is love with the truth.
