It so happens that most of the Israeli citizens were descended from European Jews. Not forgetting there is a strong Jewish lobby in USA led by Simon Wiesenthal. However, I must say this man is dubious.

Stay under a shelter or get drenched lor. Or use leaves, I think.
Last time they only have Ting Zi (Sheltered Stops) that provided shelter from sun or rain. If I'm not wrong, the invention of umbrella was partly based on the structure of Ting Zi. It's amazing that the inventor could come up with a design like that. Till today, we are still using that, though of different materials.

But before the Chinese invented paper, the Egyptians had their papyrus scrolls (made from some Nile reeds). The Chinese were still using their heavy bamboo blocks at that time. Am I right? Confused

Actually even though Cai Lun invented paper during the Han Dynasty, we still see officials using the bamboo blocks during Three Kingdoms. You all watched the drama right? Still using bamboo blocks siah .. lol

Actually, God and biblical figures left their marks in various cultures:

1. the worldwide flood. Enuff said. Even ah heng was intrigued. Very Happy

2. the depiction of Fu Xi - this guy can be considered the Adam of chinese civilization. Do you realize how he is depicted in paintings and symbols? I leave you to find out. Wink

3. pyramids in many cultures. Even the tomb of Qin Shihuang looks like a pyramid. The whole of li-shan (where he is supposedly buried) is like a pyramid! The pyramid symbolises mankind yearn for the afterlife, heaven, whatever lah (think of the Egyptians and Qin Shihuang). We find this in the bible too - the tower of babel! Maybe God confused the people and their descendants knew the art of pyramid building from the very first prototype - tower of babel. Very Happy

Some of you may think this is bullshit. Maybe aliens did it. Laughing

Once, sumone posted and hinted that Shang Di depicted in Chinese folklore is actually god as depicted in christianity

Even tho there may be biblical accounts of floods, Fu Xi and so on..does this mean we must readily accept the bibles hold supremacy over other faiths scriptures and that we must accept the rest of the bibles?

Afterall, Christianity is a Jewish issue, and we are not god chosen people. Why the hell would i want to believe in it.

Sorry to say, christianity is a localised religion, whateevr way people choose to interprete the bible so that they can spread to other people...
