shade343 asked for anything in the bible... OT is still in the
bible..
btw, the OT is still relevant...those things listed are not
cultural prejudices, they are Gods veiw point on things... which
does not change... if you read the NT, there are many verses quoted
in the NT which are quoted by Jesus and the apostles from the
OT.
In Luke 4:4
But Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word
of God.'"
The verse quoted by Jesus actually comes from Deuteronomy 8:3 which
is OT...
In Matthew 21:16
16and said to Him, "Do You hear what these are saying?"
And Jesus said to them, "Yes. Have you
never read,
"Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants
You have perfected praise'?"
This verse quoted by Jesus was taken from Psalm 8:2
Mark 11:17
17Then He taught, saying to them, "Is it
not written, "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all
nations'?[a] But you have made it a "den of
thieves."'[b]
[a]Mark 11:17 Isaiah 56:7
[b]Mark 11:17 Jeremiah 7:11
John 19:24
24They said therefore among themselves, "Let us not tear it, but
cast lots for it, whose it shall be," that the Scripture might be
fulfilled which says:
"They divided My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots."[a]
Therefore the soldiers did these things.
This comes from Psalm 22:18
Acts 7:2-3
2And he said, "Brethren and fathers, listen: The God of glory
appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before
he dwelt in Haran, 3and said to him, "Get
out of your country and from your relatives, and come to a land
that I will show you.'[a]
[a] Genesis 12:1
Romans 4:7-8
7"Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven,
And whose sins are covered;
8Blessed is the man to whom the LORD shall not impute
sin."[a]
[a] Psalm 32:1, 2
