laoda99 SG How do u think we can preach more effectively to non-believers without making them feel uneasy or offended, while not compromising our message? Would anyone (believers or non-believers) like to share? Hope this can be a simple and frank talk so that we can reach out to pple who want to know more about the Christian faith.

laoda99 SG Though I do not approve what some charismatic churches are doing, I think their basic message is still clear: they want u to know Christ so that u can be saved too. Think it is just a matter of approach. If u are put off by CHC, there are still many other churches in sg u can go to. Who knows u may find one that u are not put off. Most importantly is u must be open to new ideas.
f.1 SG dun be overly enthusiastic lah..... i am sort of believer too but no denomination, no baptism oso.... i dun go church regular and seldom pray but i try to respect God when speaking of him and try to remember to thank him for my meals and good fortunes etc... wat that makes me... i dunno... many people view me as poser or insincere but i tink i heart sincere can liao...

laoda99 SG Think u should go church. One cannot depend on oneself that he will try to respect GOD and pray often. I think most pple dun really have the discipline to go church also. For me, I still need my frens to wake me up to go church. But at least there is encouragement there and I really think I grow spirtually by going to church.
f.1 SG baptism is just a significant act of showing tat u are reborn.... well , loads of reborned christians doing a lousy job of setting a good example as well u know.... i even hear of people go be baptised just for the sake of "showing off" to their peers that they are baptised liao.... oh well, as i said... i am not a real real christian....
dragg SG frankly i cannot stand most people at church. nothing against them though. i just have a feeling they try too hard to be friendly and seems hypocritical.
chunyong SG wat for go to church every sunday but for the rest of the week do bad things….main thing is u dun do bad things can liao…go to church or not is secondary
