question: how do people get medical leave from doctors so easily?

i'm almost dead and the doc tells me this in one unbroken sentence: you'll start to feel better in 3 days' time and i'll put you on one day's medical leave...

then i gotta go to work ill (like now although feeling better) while other people seem to be totally okay yet on medical leave for a couple of days?

if you're too ill to be intimidating, you don't get the sick leave

hmm... have a very regular doc? mine always ask me do i need mc? how many days i need? 1 day enuff or not? but usually i get 2 days lah.....

how about dribbling nose, no voice (barely able to speak because throat's messed up and swollen), raging fever, bloodshot eyes, almost unable to stand straight because of bodyaches....

clear indications of influenza, the real type... the virus that killed the most number of people in history... not runny nose...

the doctors on tv says that for influenza, the patient requires a week of rest.. and this quack says it's influenza.. and gives me one day medical leave... Mad

was in too weakened a state to care at that time...

oh... strangely, i was immunised against influenza... yet i kena? Laughing

tat's why i say have a regular doc.. not just the same place mah.... cos hor doc also got mood and types one.... i seen mine for years... and everytime i go he'll sure chat with my hubby.... Razz
