I will like to put in a simple example ..
If I enjoy going to church, cellgroups, serving God in ministries,
helping the less fortunate, reading bible, discussing about God,
praying etc etc ..
And if I married someone who does not enjoy most if not all the
above.
Then practically, I can only compromise by doing less of what I
enjoy so as to spend more time with her, doing things she
enjoy.
In conclusion, if my belief is only a preference, I will find
nothing very wrong that. I can prefer chocolate ice cream to
vanilla, but if no chocolate .. aiya .. vanilla also can la!
If its a conviction, I may find myself in an extremely difficult
position.
In the end of the day, its up to us!
If God is a pigment in our imagination, then we might as well do
whatever we desire!
If He is real .. we had better make a wiser choice
Compromising, in this instance, is not wise.
