the Bear SG yup... a 5-foot version of it not the touristy type but a honest to goodness musical instrument type here it is a bull-roarer is a piece of wood which is tied to a string, and whirled around.. it spins and produces a humming sound which can be heard for miles in flatlands.. looks like this:
