Yo any advice on camp food?

Yo, any suggestion on what food to give students in the camp? Almost survivor kind of camp. Confused Last time we tried maggie mee, but the respond not good, as they don't like to have a 3d2n camp where all meals are maggie mee as main course Embarassed We wanna try something new this time Wink

well..i think most properly..canned food will do the trick..like baked beans..tuna..ermm..hope tt help..keke..

i remember i had a one week camp in ubin when i was in sec sch.
we had maggie mee, dog biscuits, canned food like baked beans, and rice... we had to cook the rice in a bamboo that was provided.
and we had to carry a watermelon ard, that was our fruit, have to use our little swiss army knife to carve it open...

show them how to build traps and then reward them accordingly
otherwise, demonstrate killing quails, chickens and rabbits, then give them the meat and let them do their own cooking

combat ration....yucks.....but i only like the pasta....

think u cant go wrong with white bread.
"so good, you can even eat on its own"

can also go along with canned tuna, sardines.
if possible a bottle of kaya, or chocolate spread (hope it does not melt)

actually magi mee is good....i also prefer that during my army daze.
can throw in hotdog to cook with it...baked beans and tuna too.

Yo, I agree. But that time we tried maggie mee with canned food. The feedback wasn't good. Nowadays kids very weak, can't take torture. Confused

Last time wad we did is..there is this cooking committe..who in charge of food....they are given a budget to plan lah...

if not..u can split them up in a grp...tell them wad is their budget..and from there...list down wad they wan and ask somebody to go and buy in the morning....one way it teach them how to plan and work between the budget..team work also..and maybe after tht u can have a competition between the grps..Food tasting...maybe this can be done for Dinner

As for breakfast:
Bread...egg....

As for Lunch:
Maggie mee...rice..beehoon...canned food and etc..

You can have desert too..like red bean soup and etc...

if u felt that the kids require some good food..mayb u can have a steamboat or something at the last day....very easy..just buy the ingredients...n dump it in a common pot..(either those steamboat or those Indian use to cook curry those kind)...den everybody eat together..a way to reward them...after the long camp
