Grace...for the moment ~

God will always give what is right to his people who cry to him night and day, and he will not be slow to answer them. LUKE 18:7 God's Good Timing Why does...

He called you to share in his glory in Christ, a glory that will continue forever.
1 Peter 5:10

Immersed in Grace
To believe we are totally and eternally debt free is seldom easy. Even if weve stood before the throne and heard it from the king himself, we still doubt. As a result, many are forgiven only a little, not because the grace of the king is limited, but because the faith of the sinner is small. God is willing to forgive all. Hes willing to wipe the slate completely clean. He guides us to a pool of mercy and invites us to bathe. Some plunge in, but others just touch the surface. They leave feeling unforgiven.

Where the grace of God is missed, bitterness is born. But where the grace of God is embraced, forgiveness flourishes.

The more we immerse ourselves in grace, the more likely we are to give grace.

Is anything too hard for the LORD? NO!
Genesis 18:14

Dont Miss Gods Answer
The God of surprises strikes again. God does that for the faithful. Just when the womb gets too old for babies, Sarai gets pregnant. Just when the failure is too great for grace, David is pardoned.

The lesson? Three words. Dont give up.

Is the road long? Dont stop.

Is the night black? Dont quit.

God is watching. For all you know right at this momentthe check may be in the mail.

The apology may be in the making.

Th job contract may be on the desk.

Dont quit. For if you do, you may miss the answer to your prayers.

It's a Catholic devotion prayer :

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Bahasa Indonesian version:

SALAM MARIA

Salam Maria, penuh rahmat, Tuhan sertamu,
terpujilah engkau di antara wanita,
dan terpujilah buah tubuhmu, Yesus.
Santa Maria, bunda Allah,
doakanlah kami yang berdosa ini, sekarang dan
waktu kami mati.
Amin.

our father in heaven, holy be ur name
ur kingdom comes,
ur will be done on earth, as in heaven
give us this day our daily bread
forgive our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us

Our high priest is able to understand our weaknesses. When he lived on earth, he was tempted in every way that we are, but he did not sin.
Hebrews 4:15

Our High Priest
Read how J.B. Phillips translates Hebrews 4:15:

For we have no superhuman High Priest to whom our weaknesses are unintelligiblehe himself has shared fully in all our experience of temptation, except that he never sinned.

Its as if he knows that we will say to God: God, its easy for you up there. You dont know how hard it is from down here. So he boldly proclaims Jesus ability to understand. Look at the wording again.

He himself. Not an angel. Not an ambassador. Not an emissary, but Jesus himself.

Shared fully. Not partially. Not nearly. Not to a large degree. Entirely! Jesus shared fully.

In all our experience. Every hurt. Each ache. All the stresses and all the strains. No exceptions. No substitutions. Why? So he could sympathize with our weaknesses.
