hey... this week i'm in the morning shift.. i'm sleepy as a willow tree (if there's such a saying).. had fun killings the orcs and undead?

sillyme SG

hard to enjoy starlights in singapore.. too much articifical light around...

skinnybeanie SG

guy should say sawadeekup Mr. Green

choco B SG

The times when we went to low-medium security institutions as volunteers, the places were well controlled. Then again the inmates who are allowed to attend workshops or help out in duties are chosen because of good behavior. Us girls don't feel threatened or uncomfortable there. The officers were very helpful too.

choco B SG

Heheh do only one area how to win award? Must aim high ma!

M SG

that's true, it'll be hard on the naked eye with the already sparse sky over us.. but telescopes will make a difference. I've done it in schools, smack in bukit timah forest and pasir ris.. not as grand as even our neighbour indonesia or elsewhere but there's something

choco B SG

Where do you get so many telescopes? Do they belong to the school?

M SG

maybe JL said 'kaa' intentionally.. Razz

sillyme SG

oh ya.. if you need my Boys on a ad=hoc basis.. let me know.. see if we can work out something..

choco B SG

Thanks for the offer. Lots of planning to do first before anything is confirmed, but I'm optimistic because we have support of participants and officers.

Btw how old are your Boys?

JLennon SG

can two pencils light a fire? didn't know i have been working in a hazardous environment all these times.

the Bear SG

give me an electric drill or one of those gear-driven hand-cranked drill and a pencil, and i'll start a fire for you Smile

sillyme SG

sec sch boys..

choco B SG

..... I think most importantly we cannot have volunteers there who will put weird ideas in their heads. Twisted Evil

the Bear SG

hmmm.. people remind me.. if i end up being a volunteer for anything, i should bring some duct-tape... i have a warped sense of everything Razz

M SG

er.. no, we just borrowed the premise. We only had about 4 scopes of which one's a high powered eye, if i remembered right. The scopes belonged to our own enthusiasts.. but if you have school support, don't think they'll mind fielding their astronomy apparatus?

choco B SG

Heh it's these extraordinary circumstances that makes working with them even more interesting and challenging. Of course this mentality is sustained until something hits a major snag and then I'll be cursing my decision to get involved.

the Bear SG

my warped mind at work again...

what do telescopes look like?

clubbing anyone? Razz

choco B SG

Hmmm yeah. Food for thought.

M SG

can we use the duct tape now? Razz

the Bear SG

/tapes mouth closed...

mnnnnnmmmn... mmmnmmnn (turns blue coz of stuffed nose)

/expires
