NS Shift Work Hours System: Work a 24-Hrs Day, Off a Day?

Is there a directive which shows the compensation for NSF working under the conditions of shift work? I'm an ambulance driver who is required to work on shift and am curious on the maxiumum working hours/days that I can work and the compensation that can be accorded to me. If I work 2 days in a row, am I awarded 2 days leave for it?

I only know SCDF fireman is work one full 24-hours day, off 2 days, but the 2 off days are also on standby if and should fire station not enough manpower/ major fire/ crisis...
