hey devil
postings in scs after bslc (in fact every posting) is
pre-determinded to a certain extend by your pre-enlistment
checkup/psychometric test. it is only slightly affected by
individual events (e.g. saying no to command school in bmt/medical
reasons) ippt results usually only affect regulars' grading for
promotion and not so much NSFs.
infantry pro term, contrary to most views is actually damn fun.
i went through infantry pro term myself, and after the initial 1-2
weeks of "sian-ness" due to what i heard about infantry beforehand,
i actually started to enjoy myself. cos you know you go through
actual shit unlike other vocations (or so everyone else thinks.
haha just keep telling yourself your one more xiong, then when you
finish you feel you accomplish more) and i was surpisingly proud of
wearing my green beret afterwards. haha sounds strange right.
all the best in your posting! everywhere has their own quirks
and things people dont like.
