OOC in BMT: Down PES. Post Out/Transfer? Wait How Long? How?

Suchacoldworld SG

Hey guys, i wanna ask some question. I been mc during my bmt phase for like 4 to 5 months plus due to broken leg injury during bmt and my "coy" POP last sat. My MC just ended on 8 Jan 2013 and my hospital specialist gave me a letter to pass to the mo. So i went to tekong MO this morning and gave the letter to him since i still havent receive any email/call or letter from mindef about my posting.

Went to see the MO at tekong in the morning and all my MC being endorsed and being down PES. However, im still not sure what to do now. Just now went to coy office and i ask the person inchage on the coy office today regarding my issue. He stated that i should wait for my posting to arrive via mail, phone or vice versa. But he asked me to go home and wait. He say once it comes, the coy or mindef will call.

So the question is i just scared mindef might take it as an awol. So before i left, i asked for an "Off Pass" and there got the sergeant name that i talk to. So at least got evidence that i talk to him and been to coyline to address the issue.

So any suggestions what i need to do, kinda freak out now. Any other ways to check our postings.? Sorry for asking these question. Kinda blur on these stuff. Hope you guys have a good day.

Call NS portal hotline : 1800-3676767 and check with them if your medical status have been update, if have you should have received an letter on how long you are excused, if not you might have to check with your MO again.

I just went to see the MO in the morning. He jus ask me to endorse all my MC, check my surgery scar, ask if I got go physio and tell me about my current pes. Also the letter put excuse rmj and lower limb for idk how many months. That's all.

The thing I'm worrying about is that my mc ended on tues, 8 Jan and I'm still without a posting/unit and the sergeant in charge just now ask me to wait for the posting to come then report respectively. So now I'm waiting at home, I'm just scared Mindef might take it as AWOL cause I'm not reporting.

As this has now become an administrative matter transferred to the NS unit's S1 Manpower Branch, therefore please seek help from there by approaching the Chief Clerk/ DyS1/ S1 Officer for assistance.

Also, please keep close contact with your BMT company office.

If in doubt, please call the 24/7 NS hotline @ 1800-3676767.

By right, OOC personnel will be transferred to BMTC HQ, under the control of the school itself (no longer the company).

I think there's an admin lapse there, they should have handed you over to report to BMTC School HQ, they will have bunk etc. and miscellaneous duties for you while waiting for posting. Posting orders come from your superiors/units, they do not call or post to home.

At no time, no personnel will be 'unit-less' or under nobody's command. There will always be a superior, an officer/sergeant in charge of you and responsible for your safety.

You are right to get an off-pass. Its very important.

If you cannot get a satisfactory answer, yes, call 1800-3676767 until you get a clear answer.
