ICT Kit Exchange: 3x New No.4 Uniform FOC for 1st Time? How?

Hello everyone,

ORD'ed wearing old no.4. Didn't get callup for 3 years, now got new callup, but I don't have new no.4. How? No time to buy since now is exam period and ICT begin right after my exams end.

Try to buy online and hopefully Sunday can collect? If, let's say IF I somehow cannot get the uniform, should I just report in old No.4 anyway? Or fk care, go in PT and tell them my circumstances?

Also I may have job interview during ICT, how? Ask CO for permission?

Oh ya, just in case it's relevant PES C2L2. Never needed to get the new no.4 because I was ASA all the way in HQ.

Bonus QN: If I order pixel online thru e-mart any delay in getting the goods if I go down to collect

Report in old camo fatigues. Your unit will arrange the kit exchange for you, especially if whole unit is still in old uniform. If not, talk to the CSM or QM and arrange for a kit exchange with the emart.

For your job interview, talk to your superior. Time off for such instances are usually granted on case-by-case basis and up to individual unit commanding officers.

As to your bonus qn, redundant. Alrdy answered. :)

The entire unit changed to new pixels in July already I think.

But just to clarify, I *shouldn't* get the new pixels by myself right? Just report in old camo, bring 2 extra sets of old no.4, and exchange all of them at the e-mart? I'm new to the concept of kit exchange, so just making sure.

If they never pester you to change, just act dumb. If they ask you to, refer to your QM. There are cases of "late-comers" who go through kit-exchange by themselves but often have to arrange with eMart by the unit logistics officer (S4).

Ok, just saw the letter. Nowhere on the letter does it say 'pixels' (just No. 4), so I shall follow your advice and play the fool. Thanks for your advice again!

Actually, you're supposed to do refit into new uniforms at e-mart if you had missed out on your unit's refitting.

The old No.4 is officially 100% phased out (ie. invalid to wear).

NSmen, they will likely close one eye, but technically you're no longer allowed to wear it as of 2012.

You can go to any e-mart, they will scan your IC/11B and you can get your new uniform and rank.

got new no.4 two years back . your unit should change for you 1 . ureport back in old uniform , from there , they will tell uwat to do .
