High-Key ICT: Is NSman Skill Upgrading Course Counted ICT?

Recently I called Mindef hotline and ask them about how many ICT I have served

They told me I have serve 3 ICT and 1 course

I was quite stunned, I told them I serve 4 ICT

They told me they are not so sure "whether my 19 day course counted as an ICT"

To me that is absolute nonsense, I did receive a SAF100, I receive a 6 month notice, I serve 19 days with no MC, I wear military uniform, I need to go outfield, I need to in pro and end of course out pro, I am studying a RQMS course

So now I want to ask what is counted as an ICT and what is not?

I was now called back for a 5 day preparation training next year

I was also called back for "Overseas Training" next year

Will it be counted as a ICTs or will the SAF play word games with me?

On course is not counted as ict, regardless how long is it. As it does not involve the whole unit

I reservist, dun tell me on course = not ict then my 19 days = gone and I need to serve another High Key ICT

If this spreads, everybody will geng MC "when on course"

I contacted my course mates, many of them says their units counted it as a high key

I ever went for a 21 days ICT. only book out twice and is not consider as an ICT.

I have many fren serve 2 ICT in one year.. And total day serve is 39 days.. that consider 1 ICT.. why? do read the rules clearly.. any ICT more then 7 days can be consider but total number of days not to exceed 40 days... meaning... they can call you serveral ICT in a year and not exceed 40 days.. it can be consider as 1 ICT only...

I even went back ICT every week for 1 or 2 days for 3 months.. is still consider not an ICT hahaha...

If officer in active unit is worse... My unit previously for the first 5 years, almost all officer 1 yr 2 ICT, 1 unit ICT and 1 of course... and their course can be thai or taiwan for 2 weeks or more...

5 days is consider as low key.. meaning no is not an high key ICT...

but all said... finally consider high key or not.. also depend on your CO how he request to division
