sgboy2004 SG I am poor...cant expect much for Cny eve dinner... usually simple steamboat with 4 plates full of abalone will do.
jedisg80 SG steamboat is the best choice ..... easy to prepare .... nice to eat .... got many choice of food to choose ...
controversay SG i wasted my time going to kenny rogers chicken sucks and the ribs lagi suck....nv go there again...even fish and co is by far way better then them..
Atobe SG For a different CNY eve experience in traditional reunion dinner, try it a Muthu's Fish Head Curry. Good and Cheap. Help in cross cultural relationships - if you book in advance, maybe they have 'Yu Sheng' special for CNY.

controversay SG It seems the "in-thing" to do for a new year's eve dinner is to dine out (for those fortunate couples) . Unfortunately, the restaurants are cashing in on us dine-outers by jacking up the price to exhorbitant levels. Think next time i will stick to traditional places like hawker centers and order a larger variety and still think it will be cheaper then going to those ridiculously priced food franchises.
dumbdumb! SG i tink the point of cny eve REUNION dinner is to be reunited with relatives lor, esp those u seldom see. good food is fine, but lets not forget the main purpose, its not like yr everyday "go eat hawker centre" event. it should be special la. my two cents of opinion and fish and co is nice, food abit the rich though and i often smell of fish later. but cannot accomodate alot of ppl. hawker center? too crowded. over all? home is the best, everyone gather at someone house and eat together, so shiok.
