by right, if you are PES F, you should and will be receiving an official medical certificate/ official NS discharge letter stating that you are medically unfit for any form of NS and therefore medically discharged from NS.

if you didn't receive the certificates yet, you can call 1800-3676767 to get them to send the letters to you via postal mail.

Were you pes A-E before medically graded to pes F?

If yes, you have to wait between 2-4 weeks for the medical board to process your pes F before getting a letter. Sometimes it may take 1-3 months for it to process finish too. You'll get a green certificate that states you're exempted from:

A) Full time national service.
B) Operationally ready national service.
C) Duty to obtain an exit permit.

If he has the PES F letter, He doesn't have to.

Yes, no need to go ns anymore. You can go overseas. The green cert writes "exempted duty to obtain exit permit" means you don't need permission to go overseas during your reservist years. E.g. Nsmen needs to ask permission and obtain exit permit before going overseas for prolong stay because they have reservists each year.

It's because I got medically discharged halfway through ns too.
