NS: Defer ICT for Overseas Short Course Stint @ www.NS.sg ?

Hi all

I've just been informed during that I may be having ICT somewhere in June. However, I have planned to go an overseas university to take a course for 1+ month during that period which will certainly clash with the ICT.

Is it possible for me to defer ICT for the studies or have I got no choice but to reject this opportunity to go there and study?

I have to make the decision soon, so can someone tell me the odds of me defering? If I accepted the place in the uni for this course, and end up cannot defer, I will end up losing the course fees :(

If they have not send you SAF 100, it is unconfirmed.

Apply for exit permit quickly! And give a longer extended period.

Once it is approved, then they cannot send you SAF 100 at all. The system does not allow double entry.

however, i cannot apply for the exit permit since the course i'm taking is less than 6 months. the system does not allow the application. In fact, I will only be overseas for 2+ months.

anyone with any other suggestions apart from exit permit?

You need to notify them you are going overseas early before they send you SAF100
