Feedback to SFI: The Worst Combat Ration Meal Pack?

I had recently completely my 5th annual ICT and I was made to live on combat/field rations for my 3 days of outfield training. The rest of the ration packs tasted alright and the curry pasta was the best! However, the pack entitled "Lou Mai Kai" which is glutinous rice with chicken meat is one of the worst food I had ever tasted! The smell is overpowering and my platoon mates told me that it smelt gross and it definitely tasted gross! It's one of the nastiest food I had ever eaten in my life! A reminiscent of the famous "Fear Factor" food contest! This is no "Lou Mai Kai"! It looks and tastes like artificially manufactured. I ate half of the packet as that is the only remaining pack I have with me and threw the rest into the trashbag. Luckily, I was given instant noodles by my CQ which I was grateful for and did not went hungry!

Combat/field ration pack entitled "Lou Mai Kai" is one to be avoided! If you do not believe me, go taste it for yourself! What is the nastiest combat/field ration pack in your opinion?

frankly i think you are too pampered. I eaten that before i find is much better.

have you ever tried eating hard tack and spicy pork cubes for 9 days straight?

In hot 34~35C every single day.

if you had that before, then complain about the present ration.

Wow SAF was so stupid to order pork cubes and not something halal. Nowadays even the non-muslim combat rations are halal.

muslim opt for the halal braised chicken which even the bones of the chicken is all soft.. imagine the condition of the meat.
