Hi,I know this topic has been discussed before but I wanna bring
it back again.
Should Singaporean girls be enlisted for NS?They can learn some
skills in the training sessions and maybe also learn how to defend
themselves in times of need.They can also fill up the manpower gap
in the SAF and learn how to live with people of different
backgrounds,races and cultures.Malaysia is already doing it.
I always told my wife that it was a pity that she did not go for
NS cos if she did,she would have learnt a lot of life skills and be
more independent.You can guess what was her reaction.
