Sign On: Officer. SAF /SPF? Worth? Wise? $? Passion? Future?

Hi, i'm new to this forum.

I am planning to sign on, currently final semester in Singapore poly , in the merit category so far, most likely able to graduate with merit.

But i'm not sure to sign on under SAF or SPF, considering i take officer path and don't step on anyones' tail and get promoted smoothly, how is my pay gonna be like until i retire ? and does spf pay more ?

And also, which scheme should i take ? if i want to continue my studies at a local uni ( NTU )

just one tip brother - most people who sign up for money, ended up with regrets.

In SAF, or basically any government agency, your academic qualifications dictate strongly your promotion and your pay. For officer, diploma holders rise up the slowest. Even those who break 4 years for uni studies, will still end up with more pay than you in the long run.
