PES Review: Back Pain? Must Show Doctor's Letter as Proof?

Hi all. I sustain a back injury since i entered my new unit a few months ago, which cause me to give my commanders and platoon mates a shack face everytime the "pain" acts up. It also happens everytime there is physical activities or combat fitness training.

Anyway, recently even if there is no pain, i will sometimes feel very shack even when i sit down. This results in me having to stand until the medic attends to me, and miraculously when i blow the air con of the medical centre, the pain immediately disappears and i cant help but break into a smile (like when you had ur first erection :) )

My OC and CSM told me a few days ago that i am going to down pes very soon. But i cant wait any longer. Today when i was marshalling at the stair case area fully sheltered, i started to feel the pain again.

So what PES will i get?

don't know we said how many times already...

no choice, there's no other way...

no hospital written proof in black and white, no talk...

You should know that you have to visit the SAF MO, ask for referral letter to hospital. Go to hospital, see the specialist. Get a MRI scan done (if necessary) then see if you have perm injury. Most of the time, is normal back injury, which come back with Physio appt and no downgrade. But it is worth checking out, as it is FREE.

You should see Good chinese physician and see if he can cure you. I think it is more useful.

See chinese doctor have to pay. Go hospital don't need to get referral letter from SAF MO because with 11B you go hospital is free

I sprain my back, I wait for 2 hours at the Chinese Physician. Then 15 mins of consultation, I can walk already. 2 week later I can run .

If I go A&E then refer to specialist. It will take 3 months plus plus. Still backache.

But Chinese Physician cannot solve slipped disc. But he can tell if you should go for MRI or mute the pain.

Last time I in army I get referral letter from A&E or Polyclinic to see specialist, I get the appointment in 1 to 2 weeks time.

Just tell them its a urgent condition and they will give you a early appointment

sounds like unless u get it certified, the whole platoon is going to tio because of you.

lol he can tell? what bs. i had a slipped disc and he told me its fine.

not all chinese physician can be trusted. the one i went to was quite famous with newspaper articles pasted all over his glass windows. but still no use lol.

That i agree. I got cheated by chinese physician before. Some cannot make it. Some are better. Depends on who you see. I did stressed on the word, "Good" with a capital letter "G" in my post.

TS's case is not acute . He is injured a few months ago

Chronic cases will take longer.

huh? I am not sure about this.

OC and CSM dont have the power to recommend to the medical board. It is outside their JD. They dont have the right to recommend up pes or down pes a person. The Pes status is a strict SOP with guidelines and documentation. Something like legal court. It is the judge to pass sentences, not the lawyers, witness, police or criminals. It is not anyhow, anyway.

If you have a problem, why dont you see the doctor to resolve it? Follow the SOP! Follow the directives!

Most likely they seen cases before. Best you can do is go do MRI.

Your scared of being called chao keng or more scared of getting paralyzed from waist down ? Its your health, go for the MA. And ask the specialist doct to write a memo to down pes you. Pass the letter to the MO and viola !
