u average average GPA go in, slower promotion, borderline
average annual performance appraisal, borderline average
bonus...etc.
u high high GPA go in, faster-a-bit promotion, above-average
annual performance appraisal, better-than-average bonus...etc.
for example, say if u can sign on officer with average GPA, you
will stuck at Lieutenant rank for 2 to 4 years. next, people with
higher GPA will stuck at Lieutenant rank for 1.5 to 3 years. then,
people who sign on with degree will usually auto-promotion to
Captain rank after only 6 months of Lieutenant rank.
