OOC from BMT: So Now I'm Being Posted to Selarang Camp

Hi guys, I just OOC-ed my BMT due to stress fracture in my left shin and got my posting letter. It says I've to report to Selarang camp as driver trainee. From what I know, the drivers train at Sembawang camp. Can anyone explain this to me? And does anyone know if I will get a stay in or out vocation? Thanks!

Only your posted unit will know about such things. Driver trainee means stay out for the entire driving training period.

I am a driver.. From wad i know, during the driving course in sembawang camp, is not stay out throughout.. is only after u pass ur TP test, den stay out.. b4 tat, is stay in at sembawang camp..

reason why u report to selerang camp is, you will do saikang there first b4 posting u to sembawang camp for driving course. After u completed ur driving course, u will go back to selerang camp as driver throughout ur NS time... combat driver is stay in..

yup.. tats wad i heard from my juniors who passed out last month.. my time (april last yr) , i stayed in all the way from start to end of course.. damn..
