Any Mee Siam lovers out there? I have fond childhood memories of all kinds of MS...Nonya type, Malay...and even the sweet, RED colured Indian types! Now, most MS seem pathetic!!! HELP Shocked I live in Toa Payoh and work at Henderson near the old HDB HQ...no car

Try the mee siam at Whampoa Market Hawker Centre....

There are two covered cooked food areas separate from the wet market area - with one active in the morning and slow down completely in the afternoon; and the other operate from afternoon till past midnight.

The mee siam stall shares the same covered area as the "Loy Kee Chicken Rice", and is about six to seven stalls away - facing the wet market.

$1.50 per delicious old style plate - generous helping
$2.00 per delicious plate of lontong - nonya style
