ulu ulu place beside the reservoir..... near live firing
area.... i was at PLAD in the 90s.... not sure about working hours
now, but seem like that it still practise the duty teams routine...
to serve the units.. now even got special service from PLAD to go
to the range to count/collect back the ammo...
depend on which dept u posted to lah.. will be touching the ammo
everyday... last time, i was in duty teams and was quite good
life... work 24 hrs duty (with lots of rest/sleep esp if weekend),
the next day morning go home, then the following day 8-5 (which is
usually go to dump rubbish and then can fall out early liao).. can
accumulate a lot of off. got almost three-four months, i was doing
duty for 24 hrs and then rest for two days at home to clear
off..
Wow, units used to have to return ammo themselves. The workload
of PLAD is een higher now.
Heard Ammo Command guard duty is very slack. Got
privileges ;)
My advice to you: off is flammable and perishable. Use
it. Ammo Command people are service side, nothing to do so can
get quite retarded.
