Currently my superior got told me i CANNOT REPORT SICK OUT OF CAMP. She a dxo but can she actually limit me like that?

It all started the month i joined the unit. Took mc once a week for the firt 3 week...cos of fever + flu. Take on friday sumore... Fall sick on wed nights but tahan to go to work on thurs cos got office duty. Dont wan to sabo my other clerk. So thur night go GP take mc..

Then the week of good friday. Tue night got severe chest pain. Went to see doc and he gave me 2 day mc... So wed, thur and fri, sat, sun no need to go back. Call the dxo then she say why take so many mc ah?! I tell the truth bah... Chest pain cos i got documented heart condition... When came back on monday she say she ban me from report sick outside... If sick at home go to hospital A&E.

Now my question is this... Can she do that? I not keng-ing cos my doc said i got low immune system so thats why i can kena flu/fever 4 times a month... Then got my heart condition too. Just that the time i take those mc is like a chao keng will do. I see the posters in office say 'A&E is for serious cases only' so i go there for flu or fever sure kena scolded... Dont tell me i must go to camp MO which is 1hr+ from my home just to see the doc when im super sick?

So incase i sick, can go GP then explain to her when i come back the enxt day? Can she charge me for that mah? Help leh...

Just see a doctor outside, get MC, when over, return to camp, and endorse with MO. Simple enough? She's just a dxo, so what? Never even signed on, don't even need to wear uniform.

Because under SAF regulations, they can refuse you to report sick outside and request that you report sick inside.

Firstly, no one can stop you. Feel free to report sick outside, if MC >3 days just follow the rule and endorse it at the Medical Centre. Ask them to every day do a house check.

Everyone can report sick anywhere if urgent. Obviously you are a sickly person to be a clerk with your PES status.

Well if you really need to report sick just report sick, if she don't believe you, ask her speak to you parents etc or not, just ask her call the clinic. Actually it's quite a dilema thing, some people misused of the MCs in every camp, some superiors want to let the servicemen had some freedom but they are been misused. Well it's a double edge sword theory.

I think the DXO clerk has read all the files and knows TS is not a white horse.

I mean, say TS collapses from fever, gets warded for 3 days, and JUST averts death.

Who is to say it could have been avoided at a private clinic. TS experience is forgotten and doesn't hurt her or her commander one bit.

As far as I'm concern, if TS is a stay out personals, the DXO should expect this. Also if the personals is able to come all the way back to camp to report sick, then he's not sick.
